• IPad can't do reset for Apple logo. Can't turn IPad on.

@Drythe : Thank you.  This was odd. Had IPad on charger and charging up to 85%. I tried to set the alarm clock and would not set. Then noticed on my home page that photos had just popped up from my photo album?I checked all my connections. Took IPad out of the case and cleaned with electronic wipe. Decided to do the quick reset where the Apple logo appears. Nothing happened and could not turn IPad on. This was purchased in May of 2018. I put IPad down. Turned on my smart phone . I started praying. DH told me to look up current prices for IPad and he could give me some of the money. I thanked him and explained that the expensive IPad should last longer than 2 years. I decided to try and turn the IPad on before going to sleep.🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️😳😳😳

Have you tried to hold down the turn on button. It's happened to me and I just kept my finger on the button and it took a little while but then I saw the apple logo.

Press and hold the on/off button until the slider appears, then slide all the way right. Hold down the on/off button again to start up again.A restart is sometimes also called a reset.

A hard reset is used when the standard restart process doesn't work.

• To hard reset, hold down the home and on/off buttons at the same time, even after the slider appears. When the logo appears, let go.

Did you try a hard reset?  Hold your Home and Power buttons down at the same time until you see the iPad turn on.  It can take up to 2 minutes. If it doesn't turn on, it might after you take your fingers off the buttons.  If not, try it again.
