Ipad 3 vs. new ipad

I have just received an iPad 3 and the new iPad for my birthday. I wish to give up one so that it can be returned in a timely manner. Can anyone here please help me decide which is best to keep. I have not and will not unseal the boxes as I don't know which I'll keep. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to read them. Thanks in advance!
