I know this is a bit OT but I thought those who are more tekkie than I am can help.

I'm not on Linkedin. That said, somewhere years ago Linkedin picked up my public email from my employer. There's no profile just an old email and my old job title from years ago.

From time to time I get "invitations to connect". Just about everyone is someone I don't know. Nor with an occupation remotely similar to mine {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Tonite I get an "invitation to connect" from someone I actually know. I recognize the name and email. Haven't heard from in ages. How on earth is he sending me messages from Linkedin if I don't have a profile? {#emotions_dlg.blink}
