T Mobile and Galaxy Note 3

Does anyone have T Mobile service? Is their coverage any good? I was interested in purchasing the note 3 from them and looked at their coverage map and it shows only 2g coverage in my area. I use tracfone now and have excellent coverage, no problems making calls anywhere. What would be the difference between tracfone coverage and t mobile coverage? This is so confusing to me. TIA
