The Tracfone website no longer sells the Alcatel MyFlip but you can buy it from Target or some other retailers. For some reason Tracfone stopped selling that phone. But you can still buy service and minutes for it on the Tracfone website.

You're welcome. Yes, texting can be done on the Alcatel MyFlip but I've never done it so I can't say much about that, sorry.

@SilleeMee : I showed DH how to text on his Alcatel one touch phone. He became very frustrated because to many buttons to push on the phone number buttons for a very simple text. I showed him how to text with the keyboard on my Samsung A10e and he was comfortable with it. I tried to get him to purchase the Samsung phone for $59.99 and was told that since he was paying for it : didn't want the cheap phone. He decided on the Samsung A 12. Tried to order on HSN and problems and ordered from QVC.
