I also have a 5S. It was in the box for about 3 years before I took it out due to my former phone loosing connection at times. Still love that phone. When I had to call my cell phone company I knew I might be asked to upgrade. Surprisingly the young man who took my call asked me why I would ask such a question? I explained that I'm sure the phone is already old in the cell phone world. He said get it out and use it. It is fine and will do anything I need and upgrade as needed. Believe or not he was right. Not thinking about changing my provider or phone. It is just the right size for my use and will purchase another model some day.
