Re: How do you hold your iPad?

[ Edited ]

I have an iPad Air 5 that's 10.9". I have 2 Love Handle XLs on the back, 1 horizontal and the other vertical. They help relieve the stress on my hands. I hold my iPad frequently (I do a lot of coloring). I use Love Handles for everything, my phone (I use the smaller one, my Kindle ereader I read in bed, and a Kindle Fire. I have never had a problem with them. They can reused but  an be a pain to remove. QVC & HSN used to carry them but not sure if they still do. They are available on Amazon.

Re: How do you hold your iPad?

@Mindy D The below just popped up in my QVC feed while looking at a Black Friday Sale item (https://www.qvc.com/WFH-Essentials-Tilting-Laptop-Stand-20-with-Cupholder.product.E240921.html) that I don't think will be suitable to your needs of looking at while lying down because of the angle and height limitation.  But maybe you think differently.

These I liked better for lying down due to apparent height and angle adjustability and are more affordable than my top recommendation:

WorkEZ XL Professional Adjustable Ergonomic Laptop Stand

WorkEZ XL Professional Adjustable Ergonomic Laptop Stand

$19.98 $44.00

Total Desk Portable Organizing Desk with Adjustable Stand

Total Desk Portable Organizing Desk with Adjustable Stand

$19.98 $66.60

Hope you find something you like!

Re: How do you hold your iPad?

I forgot to say that I have just a back cover for my iPad and other devices and that's where I attach the Love Handles. You can attach to the back of the actual tablet but you have to take them off using dental floss. Plus, just a back cover is less weight than a case.

@Mindy D

Since I had the Cataracts in both eyes done, the Left with a Multi-focal iol, and the Right with a Mono-focal iol. I no longer need my trifocals/reading, or any glasses!

Probably varies between 6-8".

@Mindy D  When sitting up, either  put the flippy on my lap or on a table...in bed I bend my knees and hold it up on the bottom of the flippy  in such a way I do not  put stress my wrist or thumb.

Re: How do you hold your iPad?

I have a Flipy bought from QVC a few years back. DH uses on too.

I have also seen it in Bed Bath and Beyond or in the past if not available now.

Re: How do you hold your iPad?

I use an iPad Pro. I never hold it.

I use a 3M laptop stand /riser from Amazon.  Put it in the stand, put a throw pillow on my lap and the stand on top of that. I've used it for years.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: How do you hold your iPad?

@jlkz , I buy the iPad pillow at The Dollar Store.  I have them all over the house and have given them to family.  I originally bought one from Amazon which I still use but love the convenience of having one in the family room, in the office, in the bedroom.  (I am in Canada but I suspect they are available in the US as well.).
