How do you hold your iPad?

[ Edited ]

I'm concerned about the way to hold the iPad. I usually use it while lying down. Sometimes I hold it in my hands away from me, sometimes I use a FLIPPY stand I bought here on QVC but sometimes I set it on my body and hold it with my hands. I hope this won't end up causing health problems. I never set it down on my lap. That's too far from my face to see. My iPad is 10.5".

Re: How do you hold your iPad?

I have an IPad Pro that I always keep in the case with the Magic Key Board.  The IPad floats above the keyboard and is stable.  I don't hold it otherwise.

@Jk9 @I think you use it the safest way. I don't use mine with the keyboard. I hate having to sit at a table or desk to use it. I also have a Pro.

I have a holder, handle that straps on to the opposite corners. It rotates the iPad in any/ every direction. Got it from Big A, not expensive. Love it.

Re: How do you hold your iPad?

@Mindy D I put my keyboard on my lap or on a small pillow on my lap just as much when I sit on the couch or sit up in bed.  I hate not using this case. It balances well on my legs (sitting on the sofa right now).  I don't like typing on the actual iPad.

In a case then the case in/on a padded holder/stand that my DIL got me last year for Christmas from QVC - love it.

Re: How do you hold your iPad?

I have a holder made by Lapworks which clamps onto my pad.  It has an adjustable Velcro strap through which my hand goes so that I hold the pad in the palm of my hand but with no effort.  This is such a perfect holder that it's all I've used to at least 10 years.  Never even looked at others.

Re: How do you hold your iPad?

About 4 years I bought this iPad holder at Bed Bath.  I do not have a keyboard attachment on my iPad.

The cushion can be used with several different slants.  The cover is washable.  It ran about $25:

@Mindy D  I purchased E235376 from QVC and really like it.  Very adjustable.  I can  place it on a flat surface or just stabilize it against my body (lap, knees, etc.) and adjust it to the appropriate angle.

The height is also adjustable.
