Hotmail Window's Live Messenger Problem???????

When I sign into my hotmail messenger account I have been able to send text to a mobile #. Yesterday this feature no longer worked for me. I have tried rebooting, ran anti-virus scans and I haven't downloaded any new programs. I sure hope there is someone out there that can help me with this.
