Re: Help ,problem with ipad air

There are lots of issues with the new update. I would google it and read up on fixes, or Apple forums.

Re: Help ,problem with ipad air

I had similar problems and fortunately the folks at Best Buy helped me because I had just bought the iPad there. Now, whenever I get a message to update, I ignore it.

You should go to Apple's site and install iTunes on your computer. It's a free download. This may solve the problem. If this doesn't work, take your tablet to Best Buy for service.

Re: Help ,problem with ipad air

When I first got my ipad air they pushed an up date through so, I allowed the update .... that was the BIGEST MISTAKE THAT I MADE ..... my iPad gave me nothing but trouble ... I will never update again!!!!

Please, always do regular backups either to iTunes on a computer or to iCloud.  Never install new software until you've performed a backup first.  No device is trouble-free and no software update is perfect, and a backup is essential for any device holding data we care about.

Most updates work without problems.  It's not a good idea to avoid updates particularly when they include additional security for the device.  Also, over time the new iOS version is needed in order for your device and its apps to work properly.  Many people prefer to wait a few weeks after the release, which can be a good option.

@HOBBIT, As @Nuttmeg said, if you have a computer iTunes is a free download from Apple and is a good way to backup your data and to troubleshoot any problems.  I hope you've contacted Apple by phone, or an Apple store, or any nearby support for your device.
