I am furious! I placed an order for this item on 11/26/17 with an EDD of 12/07/17 which would be this Thursday. I received a shipping notification from QVC on 12/01/17 thinking that my order had been shipped because that is what it stated. Well today I get another email from UPS telling me that I have a package coming to me from CHINA! From Hewlett Packard and it has to be signed for. The Delivery date for this package is not for another week from now on 12/12/17!  First of all there was no mention at all that this item would be coming from CHINA from either the product page or during the presentation. Had I known that I would have never purchased this item!

Has anyone else experienced this with ordering this TSV?

QVC should make it known to their customers looking to purchase items from them if the items would be shipping from outside the USA or not. We deserve to know!

If you believe your information is private, I have some ocean front property in Arizona for sale.  All joking aside, your information is our there for anyone who wants to find it.  If you don't want anything shipped from China, go to a brick and morter store and buy what you want.

@AngelWhispers I checked my box that the HP Laptop TSV was in and it was shipped from China to QVC and then QVC to me. That may be why it is taking longer.

Probably QVC ordered all that they thought they would sell in the presale and had the rest on order but they didn’t get them here on time.

I hope your laptop comes sooner than expected.

Re: HP TSV Laptop?

[ Edited ]

@AngelWhispers  The same thing happened to me in August when I ordered the HP TSV then. It took forever to get. When it finally came It was a dud.It ran slower than my old one that was 8 years old!! I returned it.

IMO the best place to buy a laptop is Costco. They’re in stock & priced better. They provide free tech support for life, a four year warranty, & a 90 day return policy.

I find this comment rude and unhelpful. For your information, I had previously shopped around at a ton of brick and mortar stores in my area before making the decision to purchase this laptop from QVC. This was a good price for what was being offered and at no point during the presentations or on the item page itself was anything mentioned about it being shipped directly from CHINA! As previously stated I do not purchase anything from China to be shipped directly to me and have no desire to. As a long time QVC customer I have always received my shipments from QVC from either their warehouses in PA or NC. If I had known prior to this purchase that the laptop would be shipping from CHINA direct to me, then I never would have made the purchase.

Thanks MKR NY. I guess that is what could have happened but it still doesnt make it right for them to do that without giving us the option to wait until their stock was replenshed or choose to have something shipped directly from China to our home. If they ran out of local stock then they should have just listed them as out of stock or waitlist.

@NicksmomESQ- I do not have a Costco in my area. Only a Sams Club and Best Buy both of which I had already checked..

@ glb613- Again, this comment has nothing to do with my original post. I have shopped online for 30+ years now with everything from the Bay, to the River and every shopping channel you can imagine that is US based. Never (until NOW) has any of those shopping options once sent my order DIRECT FROM CHINA! All of my orders have always been fulfilled from plants or warehouses within the USA.  Again I restate that there was no mention at all by QVC that these Laptops would be shipped direct to the customer from CHINA and not from their warehouses in the USA. Before purchase I had no reason to believe otherwise because like I said in my previous post, all of my orders from QVC have ALWAYS been shipped from within the US. I have always purchased electronics locally whenever possible. However as most people do, I shop around for the best deals locally in person and online. This happened to be one of those conditions where the price was good for the value and far better than I could get in person with my limited local shopping avenues.

I have tried my best to explain my situation. If we could all be a little more understanding it would be helpful.

I wish for you and your family to have the very Merriest Christmas and a Safe and Happy Healthy New Year in 2018!

God Bless you and yours!
