My nephew came over this morning and he set up our new iMac and printer and transferred my files for me. Transferring our files took a little longer than we expected as my old PC, sensing its retirement, gave us a little trouble, but we got it done.

Setting up the printer took a little longer, but we got that done too.

Then I sat and he showed me how to do alot of basic stuff. We installed Office for Mac and I was able to access the spreadsheets and pdf. files I need for my job and that all seems to work fine.

There's definitely going to be a learning curve, but I'm functional enough that he patted me on the back, took my training wheels off and went back to his apartment at his college.

I think I'm going to love it. It's great so far.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
