Can someone please help me?  I bought a PC from QVC with lifetime supporrt.  I know the original company went out of business and we are now suppossed to be using TECH LIVE CONNECT.  The phone number is disconnected and when I go to their site, and fill out a request, it turns into a blank page.  I also emailed the company and have had no response.  Who is the tech support these days??

Most tech support is useless. They tend to operate off a script and only common problems are on their script. If you've got a common problem you can just Google the issue and find a solution faster and easier than going off their script.

If you post your issue here or on another support forum you'll likely get a better response than you'll get through tech support. I know the feeling of "I paid for it and I want it," but more often than not the help you get from tech support is useless and sometimes leads you astray.

Most tech support operates off a script with a "solution tree." They'll ask you yes or no questions and then depending on how you answer, click yes or no on their computer and wait to see what the next question is. The problem is if you answer wrong, or they click wrong, and sometimes the answer isn't yes or no, you end up on a path that doesn't lead to the solution.

Your best bet is if you get an error message of any kind is to write it down exactly as it appears and then head to Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, or whatever search engine you prefer and entire that exact error message and you'll get a better solution faster than you'd get through tech support.

If you're just having a technical issue of some sort, online support forums are often your best bet. Support.microsoft.com can help with anything operating system related. Most software companies have online support forums for issues with their software. Most hardware manufacturers have support forums for issues with their hardware. Paid tech support services like you're trying to use are often hopeless and leave you more frustrated than you were to start with, as you've already discovered.

You say the original tech support company went out of business and now Tech Live Connect, too?  Yes, there are a number of tech support companies in India implicated in scamming customers.  Tech Live Connect was one of them.

Did you buy your computer online or from seeing it presented by Dell or HP on TV?  If you saw it presented by a Dell or HP representative, I'd call their tech support to see if they will help you.  Be prepared, though, to hear there is a charge if your computer is over a year old...but you could get lucky.

You can try emailing QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com to see if they can help you.

There a lot of sites online with hints and tutorials.  Look around a while.

Then if is beyond you, look for a local shop that does not do sales.  They can be wonderful.

The number I have for Tech Live is 800-648-5998.  I used them in July of 2018 for the lap top I am using right now. Knock on wood, it is still going strong.  The rep installed Tweaking.com on my laptop and the app is still there.  He also installed Ad block which I would highly recommend if you don't already use it.  I am by no means computer savvy, probably know just enough to get myself in trouble but I certainly would recommend looking into Tweaking.com.
