Recommended Soundbar System

[ Edited ]

I realize that this is a long shot, but does anyone have a Soundbar system they can recommend for around $500 or so?  I've read reviews, read articles, watched a gazillion YouTube videos, and there is no general concensus.  For five on one site, there will be five different ones recommended on another.  With Prime sales coming this week (and Black Friday later on), we might be able to get a nicer one at a great price, and I want to be prepared. TIA!

@Ainhisg   If you're online and can't hear it, what criteria do you use to choose?

Bose is great, but no dolby. If you want dolby atmos check yamaha with sub woofer. It will run under $400.

@wildlifewitch , do you know the model number of the one you're recommending?  I've been looking at different sites for a yamaha with subwoofer and dolby atmos and can't find anything in that price range.

Love my Sonos system. I have a soundbar/playbar, the subwoofer, and pair of Sonos Ones.

You may want to look for a soundbar at Crutchfields.com. They sell products from many manufacturers.

I don't have one, but I have also researched them.  Sonos is always highly recommended.  Nice job researching early!  Good luckSmiley Happy

Re: Recommended Soundbar System

@Ainhisg -- I recently bought a Yamaha soundbar at Costco.  I think it was around $300.  It is fantastic!  I started with a Bose system (also from Costco) but I took it back because it just didn't fill my living room with sound.  The Yamaha sound bar makes me feel like I'm in a movie theater.  It was super easy to set up, and it comes with a sub-woofer and it has Alexa built in.

Take a look at the reviews on Amazon.  You can get a lot of info there.  I just love mine, and the price was great!!!  Highly recommend.

@Beauty Maven , we don't have a Costco here, but I can (and do) order from anywhere. Would you be kind enough to tell me the model number of your system?  It is on the back of the unit if you don't still have your book.  I would really appreciate it as every manufacturer has more than one system.
