Fire tablet stuck in horizontal

Good morning. My Amazon Fire Tablet is stuck in horizontal mode. It started showing symptoms a few days ago, and I could manage to upright it after several maneuvers. Now it is stuck. Can you help me?

Solved by shutting off the auto rotate feature. What a momentary agony!
