Please anyone who can help. I want to delete my account on Facebook. I have gone to my account it just gives me the option of logging out. Thank you.

If you google "how to delete your FB account" it's laid out for you 1-2-3. There are many entries.

@Elom  You can also just deactivate which is what I did in case you ever want to come back.  It removes it from everywhere but saves your account in case you change your mind in the future.  It makes it so you don't have to start from scratch and re-friend everyone again and set it up.

An easy way is simply remove it from any bookmark, stay away from it, and delete any e-mails that you don't wish to respond to. Worked for me.

Be sure to download and save all of your Facebook pictures too. It will save to your computer or laptop as a zip file.

it's there under settings,
