I"ve tried for weeks to change the default on FB posts comments from Most Relevant to All Comments, to no avail. Can anyone please give me the steps? TIA!

i am using chrome browser when i open a post i scroll it to the top post and there i find

comments listed in this order

top

newest

all

and move it to "all"

I don't think you can change the default. You just have to change it per post. Facebook doesn't want to make anything easy for you. They also no longer show the option to have your Newsfeed show Most Recent posts rather than whatever FB seems to think you need to see.

I didn't think you could set all comments as a default either, but I googled it and there are multiple options that answer your question. It depends on your device and browser. You'll find it easIly.

I wish there was a way of doing this, but I have not found a way. I have been on Facebook for a long time, and I think that's just the way it is, and it IS a pain in the neck

@Tori3569 unfortunately, you can only set comments to "all comments" as default for posts created by the user. For example, for posts I create, it shows all comments (per my settings), but if I'm on a public page looking at comments on posts other people created, there is no way to change the default to all comments. I hope someone can prove I'm wrong, because I'd love to change that feature permanently!
