Ha!  I put in a request as well.

I have Alexa on my phone, but you have to press the button to get it to come one.

OK Google is beyond useless.

I look forward to getting this either early or with everyone else.

You could always use the Echo Dot in your car as long as the car had bluetooth & USB connection.  Wi-fi if applicable.  However, currently the DOT cannot......

From reading Amazon's website, you need a "smartphone" to use the "Echo for auto"......

Since I don't have a cell phone I'm SOL.  However, it will be interesting to know if an auto passenger who does have a smartphone can activate the features.

My  car is soon to be 19 yrs, old, cd player went out years ago,i can't find any oldie stations in my area,it wouls allow me to listen to music in the car ,if the app would work on my tracfone.

I like OK Google and use it all the time instead of typing in a question to search. I don't find it useless at all.
