Read, respond and delete.   I only keep things like contact lists or links to something online I haven't checked out yet.  Same with text messages.  Just clutter to me and I don't like clutter.

Emails from stores and stuff like that - I usually swipe left and delete w/o reading.  It's just clutter I don't need.

Family and friends - we really don't email - we text.  Personal emails regarding something important - like from a contractor we've been dealing with - I move to subfolder and save.

I am a little OCD about seeing the "new email" notification on my iphone.  I don't like it lol. 

Work emails - I move to various folders and save forever.

Depends on the email.   I have a lot of membership / organization / genealogy emails.   Some go back to about 2005. I've had this email address since 1995.

I "housekeep" my email daily ... save some, delete most.

I delete email and texts as soon as I read them.

I keep e-mails as long as I need them.  When I no longer need them, I trash them.

@jackthebear     Do you mean after the emails are read?  Or do they go into the category as they are coming into your in box?

...I do use labels for business purposes...I send the email there after I have read them.
