I used to love the sound of a good mechanical/tactile keyboard, the rest of the family, not so much.

It's just me here so the sound's not an issue. It's a nice sound though. It wouldn't bother me in any case. The only hiccup so far is the location of the enter key and right-hand shift key relative to where they were on my old keyboard. I want to hit the shift key and hit enter instead. I'm already working my way past that though. I like this keyboard a lot so far. The weight is substantial. I'm not sure how they crammed as much weight into it as they did. Other than the shift/enter key issue, I've adjusted to it very well so far. I'm very happy with the purchase.

That's great Smiley Happy

I have finally figured out my preferred keyboard type and am now typing on a midget of a keyboard but it's a low-profile one.  I bought this long long time ago to use with laptop computer.  The only issue I have with it (and I'm sure it's a me thing, is the number keys.  They are laid out horizontally on the top row.  Not really a problem since I so seldom need to use the number keys.  The other day I was adding up a lot of receipts so I pulled out a regular keyboard for that purpose.  Isn't she cute!

Finding a keyboard you love can drive you a bit crazy. My original Microsoft Natural one was great. The replacement one I bought was not. I like this one so far. It's just a good, solid, keyboard with just the right amount of clicky noise. I'm training myself not to hit the enter key instead of the right shift key and getting better at it. In a few more days I should have that licked.
