Re: Do you still have a record Player ??

Yes we do and use it to play our continuing collection of vinyl.  I have some classic albums from the 70's and onward.  We have enjoyed playing records.

I had a record player as a kid but once I was in college, it was all separate components.  I still have those giant speakers (somewhere, probably in the attic), turntable, and receiver (son has my old Sansui receiver).

We have well over 1,000 LPs.  Most of them are from the 70s and I have an old box filled with 45s.

For some reason vinyl has made a comeback with young people. When I go to the Goodwill I see them looking through the donated albums. They leave the Mitch Miller ones alone though. LOL

@Sweet Kitties Haha!  My mom had a few Mitch Miller albums and I can remember all of us listening to them! "Sing along with Mitch" was one of them!

No. I know vinyl has made a come back but I'm not interested at all.

I have a turntable. Vinyl makes for a great sound.

No, we do not. I'm trying to remember if the system we bought in the early 80s had a record player on top.  I think it did.  I remember feeling so grown up Smiley Happy  It looked a lot like this one.  All the music we listen to now, in the house, comes from You Tube via our Google Hubs.
