Recently started having issues. It is now happening more frequently, freezing up Facebook. I can only be on it maybe two minutes, then says Facebook not responding. It also prevents me from being able to go anywhere else. I have to shut down, which can be difficult, and start over. As long as I don't go to Facebook everything works fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated by this not so technical senior!

Is it ONLY on FB? I was having this problem a few weeks ago on every website I visited. It seemed to be some sort of malware but not a virus. I downloaded the free version of malwarebytes (malwarebytes.com) - problem solved.

@coconut1818 What device are you using, what browser?
Have you cleared your cookies and history? Try a different browser.

@coconut1818 same thing happens to me too. For me, it's always when I'm looking at my timeline.

I have a chromebook and this happens to me on FB a lot. Just on FB. I assume the issue is with FB or with FB/chrome interface. Anyway, it is what it is .I usually don't bother to go back to FB - I just leave it and go do something else.
