Somehow this #*(% Coupon Companion has attached itself to my computer, and I can't get rid of it! I've run a virus scan, the free MalwareBytes scan...it's still there. I get pop-ups on all kinds of sites telling me it has coupons (even if it doesn't), and the ads that I'm seeing are disgusting - especially one of a woman with a (bare) fat belly where they show it popping in and out. There are underlined words all over the place, including in emails and on forum posts; mousing over them makes an ad pop up.
Please...does anyone know how to get rid of this nightmare? I'll take it to a repair shop as a last resort if I have to - it's that annoying. Companies that attach garbage to your computer without your permission really tick me off....
TIA
