Hello, hopefully some knows the answer to my problem. I am at my wits end. The other day my printer just stopped printing text from my computer. It prints the colored text ,but not the black. All my ink is full. I have done head cleaning on it too.

I guess I should have ordered the TSV the other day. This printer is only a couple of years old. Nor does it scan either. I'm thinking I have a real issue with this. Has anyone ever had a problem with their printer that doesn't print.

I have tried everything I know to get it to function, but it just won't print. I watch a lot of the foodnetwork and like to print recipes but I no longer can.

No, I think that is the only thing I haven't done. I will give it a try, what have I got to loose right?

It sounds like it has failed. It isn't cost effective to repair so I'd recommend you buy new.

Yes I think it has to come to that. But I won't buy another Canon. That was not user

friendly to set up. Maybe an HP. Not sure, but leaning that way.

How old is your Canon? Mine was easy to set up, much easier than the HP I use to have.

I agree with you, glb613. We always choose Canon printers (home and at work), and they practically set themselves up. Their phone support is excellent, too, in case a customer has questions.

I would say it's about 2 years old. It's not like I spent a fortune on it.

Myself I didn't think it was that easy to install, maybe it's just me. I really

like the Canon, not sure if I will replace it with another one.
