Here we go with another dumb question:  clearing cookies

@SilleeMee walked me through this over a year ago and I am ashamed to say I haven't done it since. Woman Surprised

My computer is old and slow.  I keep getting a drop down window that says page unresponsive:  wait or leave page.  I have to do this for every step of an order on HSN.

I know I go up to the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner.

Click and go to more tools.

Click clear browsing data.

My question is this: one option is clearing:

  Browsing history

  Cookies and other site data

  Cached images and files

Do I want to clear this one?

How far back do I clear - all time?

Thanks for any help.

Yes clear out everything and go back as far as all time.

It sounds like you have Google.  If so you can set it to automatically clear your cache.

If you havent cleared your cache for a year I am amazed you can get anything to load.

I clear "all time" the items you mentioned plus "download history."

@tends2dogs

I put a check in all three boxes and then clear for all time.

Thanks,@SilleeMee .  That is what I did and it took FOREVER to clear LOL.

I have been away from the computer so I haven't checked if it helped or not.  I did, however, have to sign in here to get on.

BTW I did the Basic clearing....not advanced.
