Has this ever happened to you? I didn't think it was even possible.
My Samsung auto renews on Sept 20, and I have plenty of air time, data, minutes, etc.
I have received two calls in the past week, and pressing on the green button with the phone image .... nothing happens! Can't answer the call!

Have you received a text from Tracfone saying your Samsung will no longer work so you need to buy a new phone?
They sent one to DH. He just bought a new unlocked Samsung with Volte plus 5G so it should work???
I have an unlocked Nokia. The only text I received was for their new $40 unlimited plan.

No, but the day my Father was passing, my phone kept going off and when I would answer I would get only static..... must have happened half a dozen times! Never happened before and hasn't happened since. I know that's not the same as what is happening to you, but sometimes we never know.....

I think the issues are due to the changes they are making with 5G.
When I try to send photos it will either send or not. I have to delete it & try again. Yesterday I had to use my data on my phone to send them. It's always used my service at home before?
I never make or receive calls so don't know if that's working or not. I use it for texting.

Do you think your screen may be frozen? Can you otherwise use your phone? If it is frozen, try resetting it (turning it on and off). I don't know about Samsung, but my iPhone does freeze. You can, of course, call your service provider from another phone if that doesn't work and the phone doesn't work at all.

I chatted online with a Tracfone rep, and they said to turn the phone off and take out both the battery and sim card and put them back in to "reboot" the phone. Couldn't get the sim card out, but not sure if the battery in and out made a difference.
The other things still work, as far as I can tell. I have to experiment a little to see what happened.

Well, I can place an outgoing call but still cannot answer an incoming call ..... grrrr. ![]()

The green button to answer, instead of hitting on it, put your finger on the green button and slide it to the top of the phone.
What's the samsung model number of your phone?

This is a "starter" smart phone and no one has the number, so no one calls. I do all the calling. Swiping worked. ![]()
BTW, It's a Galaxy J7 Sky Pro. It's a nice phone, but I like my old one much better, and am having separation anxiety, so I have two phones for now.
