Buying New Tech products

[ Edited ]

What new tech items have you purchased lately?

I brought a new smartphone March first just ibefore the shut down.

I setup two tablets I had for six months. A Fire 10 HD 2019 and an a Samsung 5e tablet.

The Samsung tablet has a beautiful display, and  handles text very well. It has excellent speakers and a sound system.

I was able to install the Google Play store app on the Fire.

I found directions on YouTube. I am able to run a few apps I like.

These two products have Android 9.0. This version has night or dark mode. This is good for the battery in your device and your eyes.

You may want to try night mode in Twitter. I had it running in Android 7.0 on a tablet.

All Samsung devices come with an internet browser that works in dark mode. Chrome did not have one yet.

Moving forward there will be sales on products.

I buy when I can get a good value.

Re: Buying New Tech products

I bought a Macbook Pro a few months ago.  I'm just not a tablet kind of gal.  I don't like mobile versions of websites and the screens are too small.  Plus, I'm decreasing my screen time.  Decreasing my screen time is one of the best things I've done for a while.

I got the Acer Chromebook Spin 15. It's a handy little secondary computer for me.
