The brightness slider control bar in the notifications panel disappeared after the last Win10 update. I can't figure out how to get it back. Anyone know?
ETA- PROBLEM SOLVED. Please see @Happy2BHere's post #7.

@SilleeMee Type brightness slider in the search box in the bottom left corner and it will take you to display

Thanks. But that's not the problem. I already know how to adjust the brightness but that requires going into the settings. What is missing is the quick access slider bar which was located in the bottom right notification panel...it's gone.

I've already done the following:
-reboot
-update drivers
-delete display monitor and reinstall to update that driver

That's good to know. I'm glad I'm not the only one! @spent2much

I don't know if this will work, but you might try!
Go to Settings
Click on System
Click on Notifications and Actions
Under the Quick Actions it shows "Edit Your Quick Actions"
Click on that and it will show what you have selected for your notifications (mine has little "pins" on each showing what I have in my Action Center/Notifications)
If the brightness slider doesn't have one, hit Add.
Good luck!

@Happy2BHere It didn't work for me, but I appreciate your trying. I can find NO way to adjust the brightness of my screen, aside from using "Night Light," which I don't care for.

Microsoft suggests using the solution at the link below. They verified instructions are correct. If you want to. Looks like something I wouldn't want to mess with.
I lost it too. I use the brightness buttons on my monitor.

I tried doing what it says in that link you posted but it didn't work. Maybe I didn't do it all right, I'm not sure.
