OMG.  Is this black screen the result of the Black Friday promotion or is my computer broken?  I did manage to corrupt Chrome so I switched to Microsoft whatever this is called.  Now I get black with white writing and some yellow and green thrown in.  Nightmare.

I don't know what you're talking about. Black screen where?

I have no idea why your screen is black with white writing unless somehow some of the defaults were changed or possibly there is some other problem. As for corruping Chrome, you can unistall it and then reinstall it but it's not sounding like the browser is the only issue.

I was able to re-install Chrome, it had just disappeared on its own.  The problem continues on the Edge browser.  Everything on this page that is white is black.  The black print is white.  Bright yellow print highlights certain things.  This is a three week old computer, a Dell Inspiron 5575 purchased from QVC.  I'll take it to my tech, she is cheap.  If that doesn't work its going back to QVC.  This computer has Ryzen instead of Intel, its only $600.00 and that's why I bought it  I don't game, save photos, watch videos or anthing else on this thing.  I never had this problem with my ancient plodding old Dell.  Color me disgusted.
