At the bottom of QVC main page - something caught my eye yesterday.....a great deal to be presented later this month. If you're (also) having problems with the CD portion - you might want to check it out. My order is in for this basic model.

would appreciate your comments re problems with cd part of Bose. mine has been acting up (everything else works) so dithering about replacing as price is great.

they will be pushing new version with bluetooth and streaming options. I just want cd, radio and jack for my IPOD.

My CD skips, but I,he had it for quite a few years.

thank you for responding )) mine said 'cd not playable'. tried 3 different cd's. they worked fine in another cd player, so assume its the Bose. a few days later, the Bose played said cd's just fine. don't know if it will happen again.

meanwhile, got a new IPOD, loaded all my music and use the IPOD with the Bose so probably don't NEED a new Bose. but that price.....;-)

Thinking about picking this up, too. BOSE newer models no longer have the multi cd changer so I may replace my bedroom clock radio with this.

There is another discussion about this not being true stereo sound. Gave that thought and I may go back to using an old school component system to get my music fix.
