Asking for techie help

My DH got me a new tablet for my birthday. I am a tech challenged person and I am trying to learn about it but the apps thing is new to me totally. Mine is not an apple product but from a company called ASUS. Anyway, i can go to the app store on my homepage and review many apps then , if I want to , I can search for an app - but when I type in QVC to search for their app it is not there. Doesn't QVC have an app.? Am I doing the wrong thing to get to it?
