Re: Another scam call..... Oy vay!

@hckynut  I have a Panasonic phone that sounds like yours.   I hit the call block if I have a phone with me or I am in reaching distance.  But it rings when I am in the shower, outside or I’m in the basement when I don’t have a phone with me.

If I am expecting a call, I have to run to see who it is or get close enough to hear the number announcement. I also take care of my elderly sister and another elderly family member who call me for emergencies.  They fall and can’t get up, or fall and get hurt, or they need to go to the doctor or ER immediately. It’s always something.

i try to keep a phone handset with me, but I often lay it down somewhere and can’t find it  quick enough when it rings.

i need to be available for my grandkids too.  If they get sick at school, I am the school contact person.  I have to go get them.

it is sad that we have no privacy and have to live with these unwanted intrusions.  I even have a unlisted number, that doesn’t help either.

Every evening I look through the calls received that I didn’t answer and block them. It.’s become a job.  Last month I got a call at 11:30 pm.  I blocked that call in 2 seconds.  I was amazed I got a call that late.

i will be 65 in May, 2019 and those stupid Medicare calls will be starting all over again.  Boy, am I not looking forward to that.

i wish there was a stun button on the phone...BUZZZZ! Snap.  That probably wouldn’t work either, but it would make me feel good to zap’em.
