Here's a weird one w/gmail. Every time I send an email to my sister-in-law who has an AT&T email addy she gets it BUT I immediately get an email from that Mailer-Daemon thing that my email could not be delivered to...and it gives a gmail addy....due to either an expired addy or it's full...or something along those lines...followed by a bunch of numbers. I have deleted them so can't give the exact wording. Attached to it will be the email I sent my sister-in-law. She has never had a gmail addy. It's just the weirdest thing.

I have searched for an answer to what might be going on to no avail.

Check your contacts. Make sure you don't have two email addresses for your SIL in there.

That was the first thing I did back a couple of months ago when this first started happening. It only happens w/her email address. And she said nobody else has told her they get the Mailer Daemon (or Daemon Mailer, whatever it is) email when they send her one.

Have you checked your sent mail? Does it show more than one email address in the To field?

No, I've never looked to see if another besides hers was in the Sent field. I'm going to send her a test email now to see if this other gmail addy shows up there.

Okay....sent her an email, immediately got email (went to my spam folder) from Mailer Daemon saying "the email account you tried to reach is over quota and inactive. Please direct the recipient to....and it gives a yahoo support email addy. In this message are also a bunch of numbers. The gmail addy it won't go to is one I have never known anyone to have and neither does my sister-in-law. Only her addy shows in the sent field.

Oops! I should rephrase my question. Did you look at the email in your sent mail folder? Does the Gmail address appear in the To field of that copy of the email?

Also, Have your SIL check her email settings to see if her account is forwarding emails to a Gmail account.

I just checked, nah just her email. She claims to have checked everything at her end. Sooner or later either she or I will have to make a call.......or find the right support address to email to try to figure it out. Thank you ever so much for trying to help, it is appreciated.
