Do I need to have something downloaded in my tablet to watch TV on it?

Rca tablet.  Picture and sound comes on then freezes up.

Something is not right.

I use an Android Tablet (Samsung) exclusively and watch TV with no problem.  Of course you need to download the TV station or the vehicle, so to speak, to get you to the station.  Sounds like maybe it's not downloading or streaming fast enough.  I just discovered a new way to watch TV...im going to send you the website...its free, just download the app.

does it help to watch qvc ? or just the station your watching

@SharkE.  It allows you to watch a bunch of cable channels without cable.  The app is called "free tv" from the play store.  You shouldn't need anything to watch QVC.  I've never had a problem watching it.  I have no idea why you're having a problem.

There could be a problem with your internet service.  Do a speed test and see.  You'll need to go through the tablet's browser for the test.

Does RCA make newer tablets?  It could be that your tablet is too old, maybe not a recent Android version?  Possibly processor speed is not enough to watch TV.
