My HP wireless printer will NOT stop printing. Every time it starts printer, I cancel, but the printing continues. Shutting the blasted thing down does nothing. Tried calling HP for help, but because it's Labor Day, nobody is there. Is there an easy solution? I'm running out of paper and ink. In the "old days" you could check what was in the print que, but I don't think that's the way now.

Remove the paper tray and/or ink cartridge. Cancel document in the que...it may take a while but it will eventually stop.

Turn it off and unplug it. Wait a few minutes and then plug it back in. That will reset the connection.

When things fail like your printer, unplug it. Don't know a printer the keeps going without power. Than look for help. Same with any electronic that has an AC plug. If it has battery power, take the battery(s) out. Most newer electronics will reset after power is turned off, either by a "plugged in reset", or a complete loss of power(unplug).
Tak the paper and use the other side, I do it all the time. Ink? It's gone!

It worked. Now I have to go out to buy some paper and ink cartridges. Just kidding.
Thank you all.
