I love the 1 0" and the 8" ,

otoh, the 7" has only a single wifi antenna, so it's much slower.

 I've always bought my Fires from Amazon directly, as their CS responds immediately using the "?" HELP icon on the homescreen.

I choose the immediate Return Call Back for assistance.I

Plus Amazon offers their Fires on 5-payments occasionally, which is when I usually grab several models for future holidays/birthdays.

I participate on amazonforum (dotcom), where customers help out other customers 

with any Amazon device issue, including Echos, Alexa, Kindles, etc.

I ordered the 10 inch for my niece for her b-day though Amazon. I had the 7 inch and the 8 inch back in the day. I see no real difference with this so called newer one. The screen resolution is dim compared to the Samsung tablets I have now. I guess for the price it is worth it. She also has prime membership so that will make a difference for her. Also it has hands free Alexa which is a nicer feature then having to hold the button down. All in all for a inexpensive budget tablet it is nice for the price.
