Amazon views it as another "Black Friday" where Prime members can get once a year type discounts on Amazon's top selling, most sought after items. The deals tend to be short-lived, while supplies last (in some cases just a few minutes) but you can save a lot. I got a new Fire tablet last year on Prime Day. New offers pop up all through the day and if there's anything specific to Amazon you're looking for, it's a great day to get it. If you want a Kindle, Kindle Fire, Fire TV, Echo, or other Amazon branded item, Prime Day is for you. They also sell lots of other stuff too at big discounts. Eh last years was just a huge garage sale. I love Amazon Prime and shop it all the time but their Prime Day? A total bust.

I can only hope for Amazon's sake this year's Prime Day will be better than last year- they were the laughing stock of the cyber-world.

I love Amazon, but PD last year was AWFUL!!! I laughed out loud when I saw they were repeating it!
