When going to activate new phone online, transferring the old phone number and minutes to the new phone, I get as far as a box that comes up and says: If you proceed with transaction, only your phone number and service days will transfer. Any balance remaining will be lost. Do you agree and want to proceed? "
Well needless to say, I clicked on "No" and ended the activation. I've activated several new Tracfones in the past with transferring numbers and remaining minutes by doing it all online and there was never a problem.
Has anyone else had this happen, and if so, were you able to get past this point? Am thinking I'll probably have to call Tracfone and deal with their CS.

Howard Forums has had users reporting this happening occasionally. It is not correct...there is a glitch in the website. You can either call to activate or go on Tracfone's Facebook page and use the chat feature, which is what I would recommend.

Yes. I ended up calling CS when after 30+ hours my phone still had not activated. Was on phone with CS for an hour while they tried to figure out the problem.
Finally got it activated. I was transferring an existing tracfone number to new phone.

I came here today to look to see or ask if anybody else is having this issue because that's the same message I got. I even tried logging into my tracfone account during the process (it's optional) and it still kept telling me the minutes would not transfer so I canceled the transaction. The other strange thing was I kept trying to check my minutes/texts/data on my old phone before doing the transfer to be sure I knew what I had to be carried over and that wasn't working yesterday either. I gave up!

**UPDATE** yesterday I called the number on the blue card and activated the phone via the prompts (did not speak with anyone) and the call took about 3 minutes and the phone was activated with all the minutes transferred/added successfully within about 15 minutes.

This is what I did too after I got frustrated with the website. It was so easy. Wish I had tried that first! My 1350 minutes didn't add immediately, but they were added.

Thanks for the update. I was on hold for over 30 minutes when I looked here for information. Did exactly what you said and the transfer was almost immediate. All text, data, minutes and time transfered automatically.

I ordered the lastest TSV tracfone and got it in about 4 days----and had absolutely no problems activating it online. My old phone was a moto e and I was able to transfer all my stuff very easily just following the instructions. . I am amazed at how many issues people are having. I have been using tracfone for the last 5 years or so and maybe once had to deal with CS. So sorry you all are having problems. This Samsung phone is awesome!!!
