I have a Firestick I have Netflix, and Amazon Prime, never had a problem. I recently got a subscription to Hulu and am having trouble with it on my Firestick. Sometimes I get a blank screen bringing up Hulu or the picture freezes. I usually unplug the stick, plug it back in and it's okay  (it is annoying to do it frequently). I have two smart TVs, no problem with Hulu, I have a Roku, it plays Hulu just fine. If anyone is conflicted  which to get Amazon Firestick or Roku, I would go with Roku. The Roku is a lot more user friendly.

Re: Amazon Firestick And Hulu

I have just about everything under the sun (even Apple TV) and never used that one.

Anyway, your post reminded me about Hulu and myself.  I used to have Hulu and then it started acting Wonky.

I called Hulu (can't even remember how I did it because those numbers are so protected).  Maybe I texted .....whatever.

What I do remember is they kept telling me they were trying to get payment from me and it wasn't working....I was like, "What the hay"?

Anyway, when I went into my name, etc on Hulu there were as many (trying to remember, not exaggerating) at least maybe 4 people with my first middle and last name.

Now I've said here that my first name is Linda (no big deal).  But the had me listed as Linda XXX and XXX as being a male.  I don't know many Linda's who are male!! I know some things have changed but usually Linda is female.

Then they had various addresses listed for me.  I tried and tried to get it straight.

As I've said, various family members make a living at the computer, etc every day so they know everything about computers.  Heck!  My late husband owned a computer company (maybe by osmossis some rubbed off on me...not).

I finally just gave up and eventually it went off of my TV screen.  I hate Hulu.  I've found I could get pretty much everything on Amazon Prime, Netflix whatever as Hulu.

You might try some of those.  They work just as well if not better.....they do for me anyway.  I'm a dufus when it comes to most things (especially anything challenging with computers).  I'm all about easy.....

@Jordan2

I have Hulu. I use it on my Samsung and Fire tablets. You can find help  by going online to the company website. When you login there is a help FAQ behind the account link. You can find answer by doing a Google search.

@Jordan2   did you happen to recently get one of the smart reader water meters?

  we got one last year, and started having trouble with hulu and netflix.  (our only paid tv subscriptions)

had to move the router downstairs further away from the meter.

fixed the problem, but now it seems that dd has trouble with her laptop etc. when in her room.  her room is the closest room to the meter.  someone suggested a router booster. not sure.

@kittyloo  no I haven't gotten a smart reader water meter. It's odd that the Firestick is the only device that gives me trouble. The router I have (Spectrum) is close to the tv with the stick, I don't think I need to boost the signal.
