Amazon Fire 7" question

[ Edited ]

Is there any way to adjust the color on the Amazon Fire 7-inch 2015 model? This is the $50 model.  Mine seems dull. TIA!

ETA:  I have checked all the settings and can find brightness but nothing about color except in assessibility, and that is not applicable.

I entered this into Google: amazon Fire 7" screen brightness

The second result was a help page on Amazon's website that gave instructions for settings, including screen brightness. (You can't change color, but you can change brightness.)

Sorry that I cannot just link you to the page, but since the info is on an Amazon page, it would be deleted.

Thank you for your response, ChynnaBlue.  Yes, I found the brightness control but can't find anything for adjusting color tone.  I was hoping that I was just overlooking something.  It's the cheapest Amazon tablet they make, so "it is what it is,"...lol...but I was hoping the color could be adjusted.  Thanks, again!

my guess is, if you find it and cannot access it? it might not be available on that, maybe cheaper,  model. the better screens, like IPS,  are on higher price models.  we don't have a Fire.

@Ainhisg  I also have the Fire 7 and have had no problems with the color.  I would call Amazon or do a "live chat" with a rep., explain your problem and see what they advise you to do.  Maybe your tablet is defective.

The color's okay...it's just not very vivid. I have an iPad mini 4 so am probably just used to the display on it. Thank you for your reply. Other than that, I like it for a budget tablet and like the Amazon Fire case I got for it, too. Have a nice night!
