I signed up for the 30 day free trial for the DVDs to be sent to my home. I have movies in my queue, how to place the order for it to be sent to me?  Thanks!

First of all, be very careful to do your Queue.  Make sure it is the next thing you want sent to you, because they are set to mail them automatically, often before you even realize it.  So many times I've had my mood change & meant to go back to change the order of my Queue, but then get something sent to me I would have rather changed.  So you'll want to get into the habit of making sure the first 5 choices or so are definitely something you want to watch right away.

They will likely send you the first dvd as soon as they successfully bill your credit card, or in this case, confirm it is a valid card & process your new account.  I don't think you have to do anything else at this point.

Another tip:  make sure you have the scan code showing in your return DVD, because they scan those at the post office & send you your next selection very fast, that way.

Hope that info helped; enjoy your movies!

Thank you Serenity-Now for the info....I don't have much in my queue so will have to get busy on that.

Re: Netflix DVD home delivery

I've been subscribed to Netflix for years and have 2 sent to my home each month - one at a time.  Yes, they will send you the DVD that is first in your queue so make sure it is up to date.  I find it very convenient and it's only $5/month.  Enjoy!

Re: Netflix DVD home delivery

@mibaker, Hello.  I have been receiving from Netflix two movies a month for about five years.  I have a long list of movies that I would like to see so I check my list at least once a week.

I have found that Netflix is a well-run company, really "on the ball" and extremely efficient.

If I return a DVD, say, on a Tuesday, I will probably have my next movie on my list arrive by Thursday.

I had this service in the past

they send the DVDs based on your movie lineup

how many DVDs do you have going out at a time

I believe the max is 3 discs at a time

what I liked about the service they provide a

self addressed retune envelope

plus you get an email when they receive your returned DVDs

Current Netflix pricing for DVD plans:

Maximum of two shipments per month, for one DVD at a time:  $4.99 (meaning you can get only two DVDs in one month)

Unlimited number of shipments per month on these plans:

1 disc at a time - $7.99

2 discs at a time - $11.99

3 discs at a time - $15.99

5 discs at a time - $27.99

@mibaker

If you're asking how to change the order of the movies/shows in the queue, there are a couple of ways.

One is to drag from one spot and drop to where you want it.

This works best if the queue isn't too large or too long.

The other is to hover your mouse over the end of the line of the movie, and then a menu will appear with options to choose where you want to place the movie, such as #1, or whichever number you want.

Or click on the number in the box at the front of each movie's entry in your queue.  A small box will appear allowing you to change the position.

It used to be easier but they did a recent upgrade that is not so simple or as intuitive as it used to be.

Re: Netflix DVD home delivery

I had the DVD's mailed out to me a couple years ago too. Never had any issues. Now we stream them on our TV after my daughter showed  us how to.
