If i want to hook up Skype to my tablet - i already loaded the app - do I need a phone connection like to a cell phone # or just my WiFi connection? If I need a cell connection can it just be tracfone or do I have to get a regular service? Thanks in advance.

Skype uses wifi connection - not a phone.

Once you have the app downloaded, you create a skype account in the app. You make "calls" using wifi and the webcam on your tablet. Do you have a front facing and back facing camera on your tablet? If only front facing, then when you use skype you will need to turn your tablet around so people you skype with can see you. To see them, you will need to turn your tablet back to the screen to see them within the app.

Or, if only front facing camera on tablet, you could get a webcam with USB and connect it to your tablet. Not sure if your tablet has a USB port? But if so, webcams are pretty cheap. Can buy at any electronic or office type store, or target walmart type store

Thank you chi, I still have to create the account. I have front and back facing cameras. All i have done thus far is load the app.
