I know. Unfortunately the Harvest decor ships in early October and I like to put my things out in early September.

I just cancelled three makeup items that were ordered on September 9. They have said “in process” for over two weeks. When I called CS I was told that they were having problems shipping the order from the warehouse. They could not even give me an estimated date for shipping! Yes! What is going on at QVC?? There was one other makeup item that was with that same order that I did receive. Different warehouse? I have no idea. Some items ship and some do not, apparently.
The CS person could not even cancel the order herself. She said she would send a message to the warehouse to cancel it! When and if the warehouse cancels the order I will get a refund! Now that is a new one! CS has always been able to cancel orders!!! The warehouse has no one to ship items out but they have someone to cancel my order??!!
I am beyond upset. Why can’t they just come out and tell customers that it is ordering roulette when you order from QVC?! You may get the item that they took your money for and you may not!!

When I called CS to cancel after over two weeks of waiting for my items to ship the rep told me that she could not cancel the items. She had to send a request to the warehouse (that can’t ship my items) and ask them to cancel my order! Since when can’t CS cancel an order?? If and when the warehouse that is so messed up that it cannot ship three items to me cancels my order I should get my money back!! I’m so upset! QVC has no right taking people’s money and then refusing to ship in a reasonable amount of time! Then not even letting me just cancel!

I ordered four items on 9/6. As of today three of the same type of items have not shipped while one has. It makes no sense. The rep told me that they are having a “difficult time getting the things shipped from the warehouse. What on earth does that mean? Which warehouse? How are we supposed to order with confidence if their warehouse cannot ship out items after over two weeks. The CS rep could not even cancel the order for me! She had to send a request to the warehouse that can’t even ship things! This has nothing to do with the virus or the Post Office or any shipping company. This is about mismanagement.

@ellietoo - This isn't a new thing.  For quite some time now, CS can't necessarily cancel an order.  If something ships directly from the vendor, they have to send a request to cancel to the vendor.

If the vendor ships the item anyway, you can return the item for a full refund, including original and return S&H.  It will be noted on your account (by CS) that you tried to cancel, so you're not penalized for the shipping.

However, you are not charged until the order actually ships - so they're not taking your money in advance.  If you see what you think is a "charge" on your CC or bank, it's a pre-authorization.

It may be frustrating, but it's just the way things are now and have been for quite a while.
