IMG_4351.jpegClearly this is not the Peace Love World black flocked sweatshirt that I ordered.. QVC should immediately send the correct item I ordered and paid for without me waiting yet another long period of time to receive it. Their mistake not mine. I've been penalized enough already for their error. They want me to send it back then they will send correct item or refund...

That is very poor customer service, I have had that happen with other retailers also but it doesn't make it right, by the time they get the wrong item back they will probably be out of what you wanted in the first place. I would send an email to the social team.

Hsn will send a new item immediately and give you two weeks to sent the first one back. It is a shame that the Q doesn't do that.

@SylvaBelle It is really annoying!! Why is it such a hassle?

 

I believe HSN would send out a replacement and charge your C.C.  again and  then when they receive your incorrect returned  item credit your C.C.  Sadly not Qs policy.

 

You could reorder it on your own which I have done if it is something I really wanted. Usually a  damaged or defective  item  I've sent back to be fully credited later.

 

One time I sent an item back that was three sizes too large for an exchange and received the very  exact same incorrect item and called it quits. Mistakes can and do happen with warehouse orders and incorrect stocking etc. I hope you receive the correct color you ordered.

 

Customer Service sadly is lacking in many businesses. I bet there are some  interesting experiences with posters here.

Yea one time I ordered  shoes and I received Lawless makeup. Go figure they aren't  in the same category. I had to send back the makeup and I had to makesure the slip said Wrong Item. I contacted QVC to have them not  charge me return shipping on this wrong item .I had to keep checking to see that I was issued a refund and shipping of the wrong item.

When that kind of thing happens to me from any vendor, I have ordered what I want again and send the wrong one back.  I've never had an issue contacting customer service and making sure I'm not charged the shipping for the new order and getting the original shipping charge refunded.

    Wow! I am sorry that happened. I also received the wrong item from QVC yesterday. However, my replacement order ( thankfully my color and size still were in stock) was set up while I was on the phone with Jennifer (I think) from customer service.  That order is on the way.

@SylvaBelle  Call customer service again, it depends on who you talk to.  You may get a difference answer.

@yamma024   Absolutely true.  Took me two calls to my health insurance company followed by about an hour of reading in their annual manual and then a call with a third insurance rep from whom I finally heard what I had expected was true from the start. Scary and frustrating, but saved me a wonderful chunk of $$$$!

@SylvaBelle.  If an occasional mistake on an online order sends you into a tailspin, perhaps you'd do better shopping in a B&M store.  With the millions of orders they fill, they're all going to make mistakes.

 

I noticed one person or two suggested you contact the social team but nobody told you how.  Email them at qvcsocialteam@qvc.com and include your order number.
