USPS/QVC Return Problems... Mods..please help

Mods, please help.

On Saturday, December 2, I took some packages to USPS to return instead of waiting until January.  The clerk told me they didn't scan the packages now but when they were "picked up" he would make sure the driver scanned them.  Since he wasn't able to give me a receipt I took a picture of the return label on each box.  There has been nothing sent to me by QVC saying my returns were on their way as the usual process so I don't know what has happened to them.  What do I do?

If you used the Q return label, it could be 2 weeks or more before anyone knows where those packages are.  

 

I'm surprised the store didn't scan them.  I work PT in customer service and we always scan every package.  Next time, wait until they scan them and ask for the postal receipt. Then you'll have proof they were mailed in case Q doesn't receive them.

I ask for a receipt and was told they didn't scan until packages were picked up.  First time I had that happen as I have always been able to get a receipt.  Maybe it was too busy to take the time...don't know.  At least I have pictures of the return labels.

Hi @janz I noticed several emails were sent to you on 12/2 confirming a return in transit. Check you spam folder to see if they went there.

Our post office always scans everything and gives a receipt without being asked to.  On that receipt is an address for an online survey rating that office.  Of course you don't have that since they didn't give you a receipt.  The next time you mail something for which you have paid, hold that receipt and fill out the survey.  This is the only way to weed out the bad apples.

I have always used the Q label for returns.  I check next day to see if anything is showing on the package.  Usually it will say 'arrived at PO' with the date and time. I may not see anything else for several days and then it will show 'in transit' and then delivered in about a week or so.  I've never lost a return but have had some packages lost on their way to me.  I guess I've been lucky with the returns.

Thanks for checking on this problem.  Checked email and spam.  Have email 11/30 and one from 12/3...nothing from QVC on 12/2.  Can they resend the emails?

I have always gotten receipts before but this time clerk told me they didn't scan until package was picked up.  Last time I use that office.

 

Receipt came in handy once when a return was delayed for weeks and when I contacted the USPS 800# to check on it, the receiving post office actually changed the date online to reflect package was received 10 days later than it was...lucky I had the receipt to prove they had changed the online date.  CS at QVC helped by giving credit for return before receiving it because of that receipt.

Hi @janz we cannot have them resent because they are automatically generated when scanned by the Post Office. However if you email us we can give you the information we have.
