Typically I Have No QVC Complaints; However.........

Within the last week I purchased on 2 separate days 2 Susan Graver items.  Both times my orders went through and I received confirmation numbers.

 

A few days later I get emails that state the following:

 

Unfortunately, we've learned that this item is not available for immediate shipment. We're truly sorry that we're unable to ship your order as promised. 

If we're unable to get additional quantities of this item, you'll be notified of your order cancellation with our regrets. 

 

Either you have the item, or you don't.  I can't understand why this has happen to me twice within a week?  If the item is not available, don't let me purchase it and receive a confirmation.

 

I've been a very good QVC customer for about 25 years, or more.  USUALLY everything has gone very well for me; however, this week no so much!   :-(

They should not be presenting items without confirming they are in stock or waitlisted. If they can’t be sure they can get more of an item, better to just not present it.

Stuff happens.  It's not just QVC.

I just received the same email regarding some Vionic Ballet Flats. First time this has happened and usually a Waitlist order not  an order confirmed then days later told not available ,but not  Waitlisted? Different? Shopped here nearly 30 years.

Sorry to hear about that. I know as customers we place orders & can't wait to receive them. Today August 2nd I received an item I placed an order for on July 19th. Lets just say I am not happy. It's an "as is" item!!! Nowhere was it advertised "as is" . It's going back, I already called customer service. Two weeks are I ordered 3 denim & co shirts. I received 2 along with a pair of IM lace pants! It took about 4 phone calls to get that straightened out. I had immediately let them know that I had recived the wrong item! I am not going to be playing games anymore. I'm done!

Update - I now have a total of 4 Susan Graver items

all on "backorder".   

 

When I placed the orders originally (about 7 days ago) they showed on-line as being "in stock".  I placed orders for each, and got confirmation numbers.

 

I then got the email from QVC that I mentioned in my earlier post.  Since then when I check my order status, it changes on all 4 items every day.....from in process, backordered, etc. 

 

On 1 item when it stated "in process" I tried to cancel the order, but got a message I could not cancel as the order was "in process" to be shipped.  I then said to myself, ok I guess the order will get sent out to me only to see the next day it went to "backordered".

 

I don't think this is acceptable.  Either you have these items to sell or you do not.  As I mentioned in my earlier post, I've been a very good customer for many years and something like this has never happened.  

 

I wonder what's going on???

Yesterday my orders were all "backordered".

 

Today it's saying "in process"

 

Why all the back and forth?

 

It's been like this for over a week.

 

Tomorrow it'll be back to "backordered".

@BunSnoop :  Yes, I agree.  I have been a happy shopper for many years but “something” seems different lately. I’m waiting two weeks now for a pair of shoes.  Tried to cancel as soon as the order confirmation hit my inbox followed by notice of delay of shipment. .??  Of course cancellation not allowed nor have I received or been able to track my shipment. Very unusual for me.  Now this week two other orders I received broken and damaged. Of course customer care said they will make it right and am now awaiting credit and replacement. For several reasons I am not as confident as I used to be so will keep watching. Too bad!
