My pkg is sitting for 4 days in an UPS facility. It hasn't got to USPS yet. If it ever arrives you are getting it right back. The main reason I have cancelled orders with the Q.

Re: TERRIBLE SHIPPING QVC

[ Edited ]

@Didiville  I think your issue is with the shipping company, not QVC, although they do seem to pick the absolute cheapest way to ship things.

Sometimes, its better to just keep the item rather then pay the return shipping, and wait for them to receive it back - which can takes weeks, not days.

The issue is with QVC. They select the shipping company. The package will be refused.

@Didiville

Also you can return an item at no charge for 'Arrived too late', I've had to do it before.

They don't give you an option for that on the return slip, but I noted it as defective, with the notation in comments that it arrived too late for use/the occasion.

Email your info, including order # (don't post it here) to QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com for a quick response!

I'll agree, it's not QVC, its shippers....UPS, USPS. Although QVC does not seem to be in a rush to get things out the door.    Maybe shippers are overwhelmed.

I've ordered clothing from 3 differend places this month, and shipping is slow in each case.  You just cannot be in a hurry for anything.

@Didiville    The hand off from UPS to USPS is commonly used by many mass market retailers nowadays.  It's cheaper for the company and the customer.  I can wait a couple of days if it means cheaper shipping rates.  UPS has gotten very slow; they are not the service they used to be.  They screw up deliveries on a regular basis.

I placed an order with QVC for an in stock item on July 15th, and it was just mailed out on July 22nd. It stayed in "preparing order" status for almost a week before it was mailed. Of course, combined with other shipping issues, I still do not have the item.

My Mailman cousin said that Amazon packages that are handed over to USPS get Priority  ....and they get in trouble if they don't deliver them on time.

Must be true...2 items I ordered with 2 day shipping...were delivered by my Mailman yesterday...right on time...

I am having the same experience, my order has had the "preparing order" status for 7 days now.  This is ridiculous, makes me wonder if they have the items in stock. What is taking so long for the items to ship?

What is really annoying, you don't have the option to cancel the order while it is in this status, what a sham.

I have definitely learned my lesson, and I will definitely consider this slow shipping  issue if and when I place another order.

Ridiculous...
