I have been a QVC customer for about 10 years and have not had problems with their shipping until now.  In the last month I have placed orders that when viewing the order status they either say in process or pending.  I do recive emails that notify me when the item is shipped with an esitmated delivery datel  Problem I have is the estimated delivery date keeps changing so one item I ordered on 10/24/23 won;t arrive until 11/8/23 when it first said 11/2 then 11/5 and now 11/8..  On another I ordered on 10/17/23 and after about 2 weeks it still showed pending order.  I called QVC at least 3 times and received 3 different answers.  I hesitate to order anything especially closer to the holidays as I have lost confidence in them.

I've ordered items that 10 days later the order states 'processing' -

I have then called customer service to cancel the order, but they say I cannot, because the order is being 'processed'.

LOL

I believe QVC has warehouses in several locations, and perhaps some vendors also ship from their own warehouses.

@Radul.  Once the order ships, QVC has nothing to do with tracking.  The shippers chane it according to traveling conitions and their workloads.  Our packages from most online merchants undoubtedly have a low priority due V to the low rate they get.

@Kachina624  ..  I agree that once an order ships QVC has nothing to do with tracking.  However, QVC has orders  "processing" forever before they even get to the shipper  (ups, usps, etc.)

@Kachina624 Sometimes the problem is that they will send you an E-mail saying it has been shpped, when it actually hasn't.  I think they send those notices out once they print the label and put it on the package.  If you look at your order tracking it will say something along the lines of Awaiting Pickup.  Surely, the UPS trucks come by the warehouses daily, but those packages may be the ones shipped directly by the vendor (aka drop shipped)  rather than a QVC warehouse, but one has no way of knowing which it is.

That's exactly what I said in my comment above, some orders take weeks to 'process' before they are ever mailed out, for some reason.

And you do not have the option to cancel after so long, either.

agreed but surely QVC ccould call the warehouse or vendor and inquiry (I am sure they have enough clout to a vendor) once contacted by the customer (I wouldn't dare to suggest they monitor the situation with out the customer having to point it out them )  But no, they just wait  and by the time they feel enough time has pasted but who knows when that time is because it hasn't actually been shipped . they will  reorder the stuff for you if it is in stock at that point, which it usually isn't by then because the bring in such small quantities (and lose money on high demand itmes when you bring in a small quanity).  QVC doesn't really care about the customer or they would be more willing to help

@why again

QVC has Thousands and Thousands of orders every day!

Staffing is low, there is NO way they can make a phone call for every slow order!

They must get hundreds and hundreds of calls from customers asking all sorts of questions about their orders...and you want to assign a CS rep to each of those calls?

You are asking the impossible!!!

These posts all say I have been a customer for x and x years, yet they don't know QVC is the slowest shipping????

I stop buying anything from the Q around the 1st of December.  Its just to stressful waiting to see if an item will ship or not.  In past years, I have even paid for expedited shipping which speeds up the mailing process but does nothing to speed up the processing on Qs end. I have even had Valerie Parr Hill fresh wreaths held up.  I had bought them as gifts and the first year the delivery date kept changing with the finaal deliver of January 2nd.  I had to have a heck of a fit to get the 3 wreaths cancelled too. They didnt want to do that as they were "in the system".  Crazy, who wants a wreath delivered on Jan 2.  The next year I figured I would try again as the previous order had to have been a fluke. Nope, the date kept changing again to Dec 28.  Again they didnt want to cancel, but they did.  So, I have no faith in anything arriving on time for the holidays.  They have a hard enough time getting everyday orders out in a timely manner.

And some of them don't even get shipped.
