Re: Returns Via the US Post Office--Don't Use!

Yes I've had this experience myself.  I asked a USPS clerk about this a few times.  The clerk said to me "yes packages stack up until there is a truck load.

I was a bit surprised.  I used to live in the Miami Beach area at that time, about 5 years ago. Not good but I'm not a fan of USPS anymore, so don't expect it to be wonderful and speedy.

This is a cost-effective policy. It is preferable to higher postage rates. Go, USPS!

Re: Returns Via the US Post Office--Don't Use!

I am having a USPS return issue also.  I used the label included with my item and directions stated you could return it to either USPS or UPS.  UPS is closer for me so I went there and they told me to place the small package in the USPS bin, so I did.  But UPS could not give me a receipt for it since it was USPS tracking.

Didn't think much of it, but here it is 2 weeks later and nothing shows up on my account for the return.  Seems like they should have at least received it, not necessarily processed the $$ return.  Now I am worried that QVC hasn't received my return.  Needless to say I won't do that again, but what do I do now?

@jellyBEAN  You can track your return in your order status.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

I've looked at my order status and it only states the item was delivered.  No mention of receiving the return.  I affixed the label included with my order and do not have that tracking number because I thought UPS would give me some sort of receipt, and when they didn't, I just put my item in the USPS bin without thinking to write the tracking # down.  I'd never had issues before so didn't even think to do that.  Stupid me.  QVC doesn't show my item being returned, only to wait 17 days, which is about now.  Guess I'll have to call.  I hope I'm not out of luck.

Re: Returns Via the US Post Office--Don't Use!

Just last week I returned a defective item via USPS. Started the return on the QVC website, printed out my packing slip and label then dropped it off at my local post office. Refund was processed the next day.  I was pleasantly surprised.

Hope it's this easy for everyone should you have to return an item.

The problem lies many don't have printers nor want them in homes.

So I go take a shot of the return picture Amazon gives me and drop  the package with my phone in hand, show them, and voila done. I say bye bye.  This is with Amazon of course.  No  original boxes needed.  Refund given  within a day droped to UPS. And no charge. I did it today. Great.
