Return Tracking Status not updated...

I turned over my return the the Post Office 2 days ago of which it showed a scan of being received there in my QVC Account. I had also had the USPS send me constant updates on the tracking for this particular package and the tracking has stopped with them because it was given over to the logistics carrier to return back to QVC. However there are 2 more scans from the USPS that show up on their site that is NOT showing up on the QVC site. In fact there hasn't been an update on the tracking status of my return on the QVC site since 2 days ago. Why hasn't the website added the last 2 scans that the post office showed to my account tracking. It should have updated by now by it hasn't.. Is something wrong?

You just brought it to the Post Office 2 days ago?

 

I have never had daily changes in the tracking info. available on my QVC returns info page.  It shows it was picked up...then nothing...then boom!  Info appears.

 

I think you are expecting too much.  I doubt anything is wrong...it is just how poorly this third party carrier is! 

 

 

I brought something to the PO a full week ago and it hasn't even been picked up yet!

You are doing better than me!

No this is not normal as in the past for this to happen in my account. I cant speak for anyone else but normally for me in my account when there would be an update from the Post Office or other carrier, I would also see one in my QVC account.. especially within 2 days.

 

I am sorry that this has not been the case for you, I can only give an account of what has been the norm for me in my account. I just was asking in case there was a glitch in the site and this is happening to more folks than me. (Scratches Head)

When the package arrives at the Q, the status will be updated.

So there will be no other updates at all until then? Yikes, if that is the case then that is a bit scary.. I like being able to track my packages whether they are returns or orders on the way..

@AngelWhispers.  Tracking packages seems to be sending you into a tizzy.  Perhaps you should refrain since there's nothing you can do about it.  Its out of your control and will undoubtedly arrive at QVC right on schedule.

@AngelWhispers I typically see the tracking when the return scans in at USPS, when it departs, then when it arrives at the Q.

No it isn't sending me into a tizzy, but like I mentioned previously I do always like to track my packages whether they are coming to me or going back. And this particular order has gone wrong right from the get go so I am a bit concerned but not enough to be stir crazy over it, (yet). There is always the risk of loss or theft once in the hands of the carriers.. And I do hope you are right about it showing up on schedule. Smiley Wink

@AngelWhispers I returned an order and no scans showed up at all. When I phoned customer service I was told that QVC allows 12 business days for a return to arrive andbe processed. On the 13th day I phoned customer service back and was given a credit. Thank goodness I did not just drop off the package in the lobby drop box, usually I do but being the cost of the piece of jewelry I wanted a receipt. Being the parcel was never scanned in the receipt was the only thing that saved what could have been a nightmare. So, I understand keeping track of the coming and goings of your orders. If still not showing as delivered give it the 12 business days give customer service a call. 

 

And customers should remember, even though on the return paperwork it states if using prepaid return label can drop in mailbox, though that is fine and good it is no proof of return if not scanned in. It may take a few more minutes but clerk receipt of the return is the best peace of mind.
